Spring wines from Euganean Hills

A springtime appointment with the DOC wines from the Euganean hills. From the end of April until the beginning of May each year theVilla Beatrice d’Este in Baone (province of Padua) becomes the enchanting home of an event which unites the flavours and fragrances of traditional Padua food and wine with art, sport and culture over two weekends.

The villa is situated on Monte Gemola allowing views of the breathtaking scenery of this famous area. Among the attractions of this year’s event are guided tastings of the local wines (above all whites) and foods typical of the Euganean hills, arts and crafts, horseriding lessons, guided walking, mountain bike or horseriding tours, as well as music, comedy and debate.

The fair extends until the historic centre of the town, to its restaurants and trattorie where it is possible to sample the new season’s wines and participate in the shows.
