Marathon St. Anthony 2011 - Padova

Marathon St. Anthony is the sporting event and not only that eleven years characterizes the spring of that city.
The 2011 edition, to be held next April 25 was presented this morning at Palazzo Moroni at the presence of the Sports of the Municipality of Padua Claudio Sinigaglia, the provincial Sport Leandro Comacchio, President of Confindustria Padova Francesco Peghin and athletes azzurrri Ruggero Pertile and Giovanna Volpato.

Acted as rapporteur Federico De Stefani, President of Assindustria Sports Padua, the body that organizes the event. The marathon itself - this year the award is valid for the Italian title - which will start from Vedelago (TV) and Half Marathon departing from Camposampiero will as the derby always combined: non competitive walk open to all and four different routes of 1,2,5 and 12 km, starting and finishing in Prato della Valle. All participants this year to commemorate the Exposition of the Body of San Antonio will receive a medal depicting a detail of one of the works that adorn the Chapel of the Holy Ark, "San Antonio Resuscitating the baby drowned" (1534) by Antonio Minello and Jacopo Sansovino.
