This itinerary offers a short but challenging route, winding between Mount Venda and Mount Rua, in the very heart of the Euganean Hills. It is mainly on dirt road (a total of 9.3 km) and is dedicated to mountain bike enthusiasts. The starting point of the itinerary is the little church, Chiesetta degli Alpini, in Galzignano. After a few metres downhill, towards the Roverello Pass, turn right immediately into via Sottovenda on a dirt road, following the signs for the Rifugio Re del Venda lodge. Along the path, there is a beautiful view of the Galzignano valley on the left and as you carry on, also on the left, you can admire the valley of Lozzo Atestino and Cinto Euganeo with Monte Rusta. High up, on the right, you can see the top of Monte Venda with the ruins of the Olivetan Monastery.
